1 1/4 | pounds | Pork Butt Seak | ||||||
1/4 | cup | Safflower Oil or other light oil | ||||||
1/4 | cup | Tamari Sauce | ||||||
2 | cloves | Garlic, peeled & minced | ||||||
1/2 | teasp | Korean Chili Flakes (hot) | 1. Combine all ingredients in a small baking dish and put | |||||
in a 250 degree preheated oven. | ||||||||
2. After 1 hour in the oven, remove dish to turn pork over. | ||||||||
Return to oven. | ||||||||
3. After 1 more hour in the oven, turn heat up to 350 for | ||||||||
30 minutes | ||||||||
4. Remove from oven, pull apart pork using two forks. | ||||||||

This is the same basic recipe I have used for a long time. I never used to cook much pork and | ||||||||
I think next time I will use less oil. I think that was mostly necessary when I used cuts of beef | ||||||||
that did't have much of their own fat. These pork steaks certainly have enough fat of their own! | ||||||||
